Hydrain 6.0 Users Manual Downloading and Installation Instructions

1. Create a new directory on your hard drive called hydrain.6 or any name you wish.

2. Download (Save) disk one and disk two to that directory. (Both files are self-extracting executable files.)

3. From a DOS prompt or Windows FileManager, run the two files (disk1.exe and disk2.exe).

4. Prior to installation read the readme.1st file.

5. Follow installation instructions in the readme.1st file.

6. If you encounter installation problems because the install is being done from your hard drive then accomplish steps 7 - 12 below. If other problems occur contact one of the individuals listed below.

7. Create two subdirectories called disk1 and disk2 to the directory created in step 1 above.

8. Copy or download again the file disk1.exe to subdirectory disk1 and file disk2.exe to subdirectory disk2.

9. Run the exe file in each of the two subdirectories.

10. Copy all files in subdirectory disk1 except the disk1.exe file to a 3.5 disk. Label the disk as Hydrain 6 Disk 1, Install Disk.

11. Copy all files in subdirectory disk2 except the disk1.exe file to another 3.5 disk. Label the disk as Hydrain 6 Disk 2.

12. Repeat step 5 to install the manual. If you still have installation problems contact one of the individuals listed below.
